First National Card
Opened an account charging me $200, then claimed they couldn't find me! Never refunded my money! Nevada

First National contacted me in regards to opening an account. Unfortunately, I did! They said it would cost $200 to open the account, but they'd include $200 worth of credit coupons that can be used to either pruchase items, or as a monthly payment.

One week later, the $200 was withdrawn from my account. It had a description of the withdrawl, saying it was from First National, along with their toll free number. I waited weeks and never heard anything further.

I called and the lady was able to find me by using my zip code. She said the credit credit, books, $200 coupons etc were being sent and I should receive them within 2 weeks. I waited, nothing.

I called again, now they can't find me in the system. They searched by all means available and just said sorry, there's nothing they can do. With each call, someone (a manager) was suppose to call me back. Not once did I get a call. After aprx 16 calls and messages, I refused to hang up until I spoke with someone. This is 3 months later and nothing has changed.

When I got a manager, he asked me to fax a copy of my bank statment showing they took this money, which I did. Again, 2 calls later, he didn't return my call. When I spoke to him again, he said there's nothing they can do. He said it was definitely their company that took the money, but their accounts department has no record of it. I asked if they would refund the money and he said no, since they have no record. He told me to call my bank and tell my bank to reverse the funds! He refused, even though he admitted it was their company that took the money. He said banks always reverse funds in these types of situations and mine should do it with no problem.

Please, no one fall for this company! After all was said and done, that manager had the nerve to send me their merchant books still. Word of advice, the products themselves are very cheap and not worth a quarter of what they charge. They rip people off!
