Will say they want your bank account number for credit approval, then take money from your account

I went to apply for a credit card, was redirected without knowing it, and after filling out the application they wanted bank account information for credit approval purposes, told me that they would be in contact. Six days later, I get a notice from the bank that they took money out of my account. I have emailed the company about this several times, and this is the response I got:

I do not show you in my system you may have ordered through an affilaite of our's named Iacrd services there number is 866-883-4980

Called this number, and could never get through to a real person, just kept asking me to enter my credit card number. Since I did not receive a credit card, don't know how I am supposed to do that. Asked bank for full transaction information, and the email address I contacted first IS the place that took out the money. Received another email asking for account number and bank, gave to them AGAIN, they say they didn't do it.

Beware of any credit card company that has prime mutual in the heading, according to other posts on the net, this company goes under many different headings, but all have prime mutual in the name.
