Ripoff lost deposit charged multiple overdrafts and more

US Bank lost a deposit of over $800.00 and proceeded to over draught me for almost a$1000. Oo in fees. I had lost my deposit slip so I was told that I could do nothing about it. They explained that it must have been put in the wrong account but without the receipt I was without recourse. After hours of arguing with one manager after another, I was told they would reverse 65%of the fees (where they came up with this number I don't know) Which still lrft a balance of approx -$400.00

When I said this was not acceptable, and threatened to close my account, I was told that"I have lost customers in the past and I wouldn't mind losing another one although I don't really like to." And that we had better accept the offer, or they would retract it and we would still owe the original amount! I was appalled!

I am also regularly victimized by their overdraughting policiesdue to the fact that when they post everything that happens from Friday through the weekend on Monday, they calculate the debts FIRST then the deposits. So that every purchase, no matter how small, is an overdraught even though the check that I deposited on Friday was more than enough to cover the purchases made after that. For those of us that live paycheck to paycheck the results are devistating. This is clearly set up this way to steal our money! Now I know that there are those of you out there that will say "the check is held because of fraud" I say BULL#$%$!!!

IF THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT, THEY WOULDN'T PUT A HOLD ON A$400.00 CHECK AND STILL ALLOW YOU TO TAKE OUT $500.00 A DAY FROM THE ATM WHEN YOU HAVE NO MONEY IN YOUR ACCOUNT!!! I know this is true because I tried it for two days in a row and was able to overdraught my account by $1300.00. And this was totally legal and approved by the bank. They said that the policy of allowing multiple overdraughts was for the customers convienience in case of emergencies. Now if they can trust me to pay back $1300.00 without a check being deposited, why can't they trust that my payroll check for $800.00 is good and not overdraght me for every purchase made over the weekend!

I would like to get a class action suit going against them but don' know how to get together with other victims
$1300.00
