Wilshire credit is not a co. To do business with. We were 6 weeks behind in our mortgage, due to 4 Hurricanes and Wilshire started foreclosure proceedings. We had to contact a mtg. Consultant to keep the house.
Due to Wilshire being uncooperative in calling us or calling the mtg. Consultant to resolve the matter, we had to wait until the week before the house was to be sold at auction before Wilshire finally agreed to our options.
I think Wilshire realized how much our property had gone up and was wanting us to go into foreclosure, so they could get a sweet deal. We now have a new mtg.Co, even tho we had to pay Wilshire a "prepayment penalty" which was in the thousands.
The new mtg.Co explained that Wilshire had been hosing us over for months and they are getting several requests to get rid of Wilshire from other homeowners.
I will live in a hole before I deal with Wilshire Credit again.
