Ok so here is the deal! My church has been saving money to buy a new building. It took us a good amount of time to come up with a good down payment for our new building. So after months of looking and searching we found just the right place, the location was perfect, the price was right, and the members of the church loved it. Now comes the time to get the loan, enter Mr. James Brown, as sat in his office I'm told that a loan of this kind was best done with a person that had to know how, and the expertes to pull it off.
SO James asked us for a few dollars to get the ball rolling, and so we wrote a check $1,500. A few days later I find out that he hit one of my members up for another check this time for $8,000. She was told that this was the down payment and it would be refunded after we got the loan done. We to make a long story short, we never closed on the building, and after dialing 8 different cell number I was able to find James and ask him about our money, and to date I am still waiting for him to give it back.
This posting is done just to lay the ground work for my calling to police tomorrow morning. Take a look at a letter I wrote to Mr. Brown.By the way James was fired from Palace Home Mortgage this past week because of this mess. Palace is a good place, but this guy is no good that is why he was let go.
Mr. Brown,
In regard to the request for letter concerning this file, I have been advised by my lawyer that I should not write any letters until I have a check in my hand! I just want to get this over; I would like to hear from you ASAP. I called your house, I called your cell phone numbers, and now I'm writing an e-mail. James Just get back to me and tell me when I can get this money back. My lawyer wants to take the next step and get this over for me, but I feel that I have an understanding with you, don't prove me wrong. Let's just get this over!

Waiting would be worst.
And my Lawyer is not charging anything, because this same kind of thing happened to his church.
