Been with Capital one since 2003; never got behind payments until 2005. Was in an auto accident on the job and was out of work for six months. Made arrangements with Capital One to satisfy my account and bring it up to date. Some of the customer service reps are o. K, but the ones trying to "advance" are rude and nasty. Eventually the account was turned over to repo and they came and got the vehicle. The repo man was soooo much nicer than the people at cap one. I filed chpt 13 to get the vehicle back and when my attorney tried to locate the vehicle, guess what?! Nobody at the company knew where it was! Now they sold the car and stuck me with a 7,000.00 bill that if they would have told me where my car was I could have paid and gotten it back! State law of PA says, the company has to notify the individual of the intent to sell and capital one did none of this! Glad that they r supposed to be going out of business!
