I had just changed my wireless company & had an outstanding balance of approximately $125.00 set up with Cingular for repayment. I was in process of paying it when Allied Interstate contacted me. When I returned their first call they said my name was not in their database. Then I started to get calls at work & home, from them, attempting to get the full amount. The economy is not good for some of us right now. They told me I needed to pay in full before the end of the month or their rath would be on me for calls at work & home. I refuse to be treated that way by them & have it set up throught Cingular for repayment. Allied personnel are verbally abusive & do not want to work with people when money permits on a regular basis. One person said "take the payment & go get yourself a bag of candy, we need the full amount now" I am in process of sending a certified letter to them to cease & desist from contacting me in any form.
