I answered an ad for "clerical work from home" stating that we would be helping a US company file HUD and FHA mortgage refunds. National Tracker Association charged us $98.00 and told us we would receive a packet in the mail with all the appropriate forms to begin a home based business.
We never received any of the material and when we called about a refund we were sent the following "Refund Request Form" via email:
90 day limited guarantee:
When requesting a refund based upon the 90 day limited guarantee we require that the following rules be followed:
1. We require all requests be made in writing. For your benefit, we do not handle refunds via the phone.
2. We require that you use the program for 90 days, receive at least one session of training, and make contact with at least 20 refundee's per month, before you apply for a refund. Therefore, request for refunds can only be made after 90 days. (A contact is defined as making someone aware that a refund is due to them.)
3. You must provide your reason for making this refund request, your training dates, the names of at least 60 contacts that have been made to refundee's, their FHA case number, method of contact, resources used to locate refundee's current contact information on at least 60 of those refundee's contacted, and outcome of contacts made.
4. This refund request must be postmarked and mailed to National Tracker Association between 90-120 days after you have enrolled into the program.
5. Refund requests will take 15-20 days from the date received to process.

Non Guaranteed Requests:
When requesting a refund the following must be followed (their own words).
1. Please check reason for refund request. Misrepresentation... Cancelled prior to payment... Over billing... Other.
2. Written statement regarding the reason this refund is being requested. Along with any materials or other information necessary for your request. (Again, their wording)
3. Refund requests will take 15-20 days from date received to process.

So there you have it! They make it almost impossible to get your money back. So beware of the "National Tracker Association" and don't fall for there B.S. And believe me when I say, "I will get my money back"! P.S. I'll let you know how it goes! ;-)
