In June I paid $275.00 to Asgard Financial Services to consolidate my student loans. After 45 days and I did not hear anything back from them, I contacted my account representative, Mark Davis, to check on the status of my loans. He informed me that Asgard Financial Services owed me a refund because they could not perfom the services because the student loans were in default and they would refund my $275.00 in the form of a cashiers check.
I repeatedly called Asgard Financial Services and sent them countless emails and faxes requesting my refund which they never sent. I also sent emails to the President of Asgard Financial Services, Mr. Patrick Townsend who never responded to my request either.
I finally filed three complaints with the BBB at 503 Oak Place, Suite 590, Atlanta, GA only to receive an automated email confirming that they received my complaint. The Better Business Bureau is a joke and they do absolutely nothing to help consumers. Businesses only pay them a fee to display their logo signs which means nothing!
