Local Flagstar MLO officer suckers people in by fraud and misrepresentation. Hands me blank documents, says sign and we will fill the rest in later.in collusion with local HUD coordinator who is subsequently fired for operating her own realty company from the HUD office. Police investigate embezzlement and no one can find my documents. Appraiser has his own problems with Flagstar, so do the contractors, other borrowers, many more borrowers. Predatory practices range from flipping, to force-placed insurance and a shockingly similar story to this Michelle's of Montrose.
Sound like a soap opera. No way. It's all true and there is so much more. I challenge anyone out there to look into my case and find fault on my part. I am sure that my one huge mistake was to chase that dream of having your own beautiful dream house. Mine was simple. I mortgaged for $227,900 which I could and can afford comfortably and am blessed. I think the biggest reason these sharks gobbled a fish like me is because of my gender, my race and naivete about the whole home buying process. My case is far to complex to deliver in this venue but perhaps if any sane legal folks wish to inquire they may do so discreetly.
This is what I have done to make lemonade out of the lemons.in 3 yrs. I have successfully completed one law course, am now a student at a major university majoring in Finance and Law, have joined a social justice network and consumer advocate group, have studied the RESPA, the FAIR HOUSING ACT, The Truth in Lending Act, ECOA, you name it. There are people out there who will call you crazy for taking on the lenders and governmentals that help them. (Not all. There are still some ethical lawyers and politicians out there. They sure are hard to find though.) Do not be swayed or angered by the people who are saying it is your fault.
It isn't. I can parade approx. 20 people and perhaps more who have been damaged by Flagstar Bank. I have been fighting them for almost three years now and you wouldn't believe the amazing amount of complaints out there. Take heart though. There is something you can do. This is for you Michelle. Yours is not an isolated incident. First, I would suggest dropping all the emotion. Do not let Joe from Wisconsin rile you up, he's an idiot and still lives in wonderland. He hasn't experienced the smack of corporate corruption.
When injustice happens to him, he'll do one of two things. Shut his eyes or open them. Now, you move forward. If I sound peaceful it is because they have already destroyed me financially and have even colluded with others who have placed the lives of our family in serious jeopardy. We have been irreparably damaged. I fight on many fronts now. I am just one person who would like to know how many more are out there and would like to unite.
I research constantly and have been since I first wanted a new home. What starts as a dream ends up to be a nightmare of soap opera proportions. I need exposure and help though. There are so many blatant violations I can hardly believe I'm here. I filed FOIA, Privacy Act, "qualified written request", "right of recission", 2 really bad lawyers later they are and have been forcing me to settle my claims.
I was in the wrong court, with a lawyer who illegaly deposed a key defendant and he needs to be sued for malpractice. The list reads like a who's who of violations and injustices. Patent theft. Blatant. Flagrant. I'm not even emotional anymore, I have already been on that ride. Now it is time to learn everything they know. I get the chance to start all over again. All my good credit ruined, all my savings and hard earned's gone. At the young age of? I have to try to rebuild everything it took me so long to build.
