Chase closed our account and said we did it. We were never late, always paid more than the amt. Due. We did have a high balance, it's a business account. They increased the Interest rate to 29.99. Talked to them by phone, and they said it was not subject to be re-opened. The intrest they charge now, makes the amount of intrest 262.58, the payment is 271.00. Go figure.
There is no way anyone could win with this. The are certainly a company to stay away from. Deceptive practices. This is the worst thing anyone could do to an individual, or business.
Not sure how this will get resolved. We offered to pay it off if they would reduce the interest back to the original interest, and they refused.
Stay away from them. This would be my advice.
