I was contacted by ellis and crosby and they told me that they had been doing an investigation on my because I took out a payday loan online and was going to be charge for internet fraud. They try to sound all offical trying to get my company payroll number and also tried to talk to my supervisor. When i refused they told me I was going to be (processed) by 2pm and I better get a lawyer.
Well, I star *69 them and got there number. When the answering service told me the name of the company I went online to investigate. It seems that these people are being shut down for and charges have been filed from the attorney generals office in florida for there behavior and criminal acts. This is a collection company they are not attorney, cops or investagors, they try to scare you into overpaying on a loan that you may only owe half the amount.
If you know the company that you owe speak to them directly, dont talk to these people. As look them up online, there is a ton of stuff about these people. If they call you tell them that you are recording the conversation, trust me they will hang up.
