Money was not supposed to be taken from checking account for 14 day upon applying. Free 14 day trial was never granted. The company claims they sent confirmation but was never received by us (the consumer). We are out $ 300.00 and feel we were misled from the beginning.
They offered 4 $100.00 bonus purchase certificates that were also very misleading. Then we find out that we had to pay cash up front to use what they origanaly offered as free money. The phone conversations were recorded initially, but company claims there is no recorded conversations of the 2 times we called to cancel.
We never received cancelation confermation as was stated to us per a phone conversation. 17 days later we receive a packet with mechandise catalog that we should have never received, because we cancelled befor the free 14 day trial was to end. During this free trial we were supposed to be able to make initial purchase but the pin # they provided would not allow us to make an online purchase so we never actualy got a frre 14 day trial.
We think this was a scam from the beginning and would like your department to look into this. We are also thinking about hiring an attorney to look into this issue. We have 5 children to support and were only looking at ways to restore credit. And are now out $ 300.00. Thanks for your time.
