On this paticular day I received a phone call from a man sounding like he African on from the middle east somewhere where he had a strong but bussiness accent that sound very believable. He told me that I have been the government has $12,500 waiting for me because I am a U.S. Citizen and that I pay taxes. At first I said yeah right he began talking to me telling me that this is true its based on my credit score and that the government wants to help me. Also stated that the goverment receives more than 50billion dollars in grants each year and that I can use it as I please.
I began believing that it was true then he said check out are website www.firstnationalgrant.com I checked it out and it seemed to be true. Im thinking anybody with a website it must be legal or they would have been shut down or something. Then he stated that all I had to pay was a goverment fee of $29.95 and he needed checking account number and in 3 weeks that they would call me and my bank would call me and say that I have a deposit of $12,500 from the U. S government. Also that I will receive a packet with $100 spending money in my account from the company for emergencies purposes guarenteed within the next 3 days guarenteed.
So I gave him my information.in the back of my head I was thinking that this cant be a scam if it was my bank covers fraud charges and scams on my account so either way Im not going to get cheated. And its only $29.95.3days past and I didnt receive a call or a packet in the mail. Then I get back on the internet at www.firstnationalgrant.com from my same comoputer and it said that I have been suspended from this website and a email has been sent with the reason why.
I received no email and couldnt email back. I called my friend she got on the computer and was able to access the site but funny I was blocked and they have my checking account number. Then I go to the search on yahoo type in first national grant.com and to find out that this was a rippoff. I was stunned because I thought that I would be able to pay off all my student loans and bills and my heart dropped. I then called my bank and told them that I have been ripoped off and what can you guys do to help me they then told me that since I gave my account information it was nothing they can do about it.
Now this makes me think how did they get my phone number or even my name. About 2 months ago I have been filling out alot of cash/auto loan applications on the internet in desperate need of cash and a car. 1 evening I received a call on my cell phone I just purchased my cell phone about 2weeks prior 2 firstnatinalgrant calling me. The only people who have my cell phone numbers were people that have internet ads and car ads that say quick cash up $500 dollars into your account over night / get a car with bad credit andf no money down.
So they must have another website and or my information must have been sold to another third party so watch out for all of them. I couldnt narrow the search down and figure out who and how they got my number but filled alot out and i was in desperate need of cash so watch before you give out any in formation on the internet unless you are 1000% positive.
