My name is Crystal and I have recently been made aware by a financial institution that I have a claim on my credit report that dates back from 2000 from NCO Financial in Horsham, PA.
The claim I have is supposedly from a medical bill that I had before I was married and in college in 9/1999. I have not received any kind of bill, letter, etc. From the company I am said to owe this money too and I have written letters to NCO with Copies of receipts and cancelled checks for this date and after this date but am yet to receive any response.
I too have called them several times and when I do finally get to speak with someone they act like I'm crazy and just tell me to send a letter to the Dispute department when I say that I have then they in turn say well we have no documentation of that so you'll have to send another one.
This is getting very ridiculous for me and the postage is beginning to add up. Tonight I was searching the internet to make sure I had the right address for them and I'm so glad I did because I found this website. The worst part of this is that my husband is active duty in the Marines and just received orders so we are moving and when we applied for a loan for a house this popped up again which let me know it still has not been resolved.
I now see I'm not the only one out there who has had trouble with these crooks, cons, whatever they are and I plan on filing a complaint myself with the FTC. I urge anyone else who has had trouble to do the same. I'm still working on this to get it resolved and I have been doing so since March of this year with no response to my efforts. I will post again if I do get some sort of response from these individuals.
