And AT&T Wireless ripoff and falsely accuse

I recently checked my credit report and to my dismay had a supposed debt in the amount of $2,293. The original creditor was suppose to be AT&T. After several phone calls to AT&T (which is now Cingular) they had no record of me. They also didn't know what to do!!! I honestly don't know what to do.
