In the mail I receive this letter, with what could be confused as official information, yet somehow some obvious things make me suspicious.
First off the name of the company appears as if this was some form of official stationary, yet the address or business contact information DO NOT appear anywhere on it.
Next, I read that I am pre-approved yet there is no official institution or charter attached to this information. The play on words "Union Workers Credit Services" denotes that it is NOT a credit union or related to any banking or financial organizations.
Amonst other strange things about the letter, the final observation that leeds me to believe that it is a scam is that I have to pay the annual membership fee upfront. Now if you just finished telling me that I have been approved for a $10K credit limit, I think I'm good for the $37 fee.
