Platinum Pre-Approved $10,000 credit limit, $37 annual membership fee ripoff

I received an unsolicited "offer" for a Pre-approved Platinum Card membership from Union Workers Credit Services with a "GUARANTEED" $10,000 limit. It says Amount Due: $37 (which can be payed by check or money order). That is for the annual membership fee. Full details of the membership will be included with your new Platinum Card.

There are no contact numbers contained in the letter. There is a website name of www.unionworkerscredit.com. That website does not contain any offer information. You can enter the Approval number from the letter to view a catalog. All the links within the webite are "linked" right back to the website itself, to pages already viewed.
