Marc D Wasserman And AAA Credit Service Aka AAA Collection Agency Barking Up Wrong Trees With Aggressive Tactics. Ripoff, aaa credit service, wasserman, collection agency

I was feeling a little concerned over a letter I got from Marc D Wasserman, whom I had not heard of until the letter. The letter informed me that he was handling the collection of an account that was past due, but only provided a phone number and contact for the AAA Credit Service Collection Agency.

AAA Credit Service started agressively trying to contact me a week or so ago with accusations of a bill owed from a car that I had not owed for almost 6 months.

They claimed it was towed by an S & K Towin in Anaheim, and that they were attempting to collect on a storage fee for the car. I informed the person I had not owned the vehicle for some time and that it was the new owners problem.

The collection agent said it didn't matter, that I was still the registered owner and I was responsible. When asked to provide some documentation and proof as to this bill and what procedures should be taken in the matter, the agent from AAA Credit would only get rude and agressive, resulting in a hang-up from the agent.

I thought it was a scam or some sort of mistake, but I kept getting calls and letters from the collection agent over the next few days until getting this letter from a lawyer.in fact, the letter doesn't state at all the creditials or phone for the lawyer, but is a vise to get me to pay.

So I did some research and found this site, which is one of the only references to the attorney Marc D Wasserman, no professional site could be found for the practicing attorney.

My supposed bill is for $700 something dollars, which I haven't got an itemized bill for, and would only be a small claims matter and no lawyers present. It's odd that such tactics would be taken for such a small debt, but I guess they figure people will pay to get rid of them.

There has been no established communication in regards to this collection, only agressive tactics that are aimed at getting people to pay quick and hopefully not say anything about their practices.

Thank god for this site where people can learn the truth about companies and the rip off tactics that are used.
