My home took a direct hit from Hurricane Charlie. I had savings to hold me over for a few months. The unemployment and hotel costs became unbearable. I fell behind two payments.

I contacted this creditor, as I did all my creditors, to apply for a hardship program. Chase Platinum Mastercard agreed to allow me to pay 50% of the back due right away and then make small payments for six months. I met my portion of the agreement right away.

When I got my statement additional fees were assessed to my account. I enquired about the charges and the status of my account.

It turns out that Chase Platinum Mastercard has no hardship programs. They will tell you what ever it takes to get money and continue to assess charges. Chase Platinum has no problems mis-representing themselves to the public.
