I ordered some mortgage leads through Benton Mortgage Group through Troy Powell, who was their mortgage lead sales rep. I sent him a check for $600 dollars and when he acknowledge that he had received it he said that I would recieve mortgage leads the following day. I did not receive the leads in the time promised (I mean they had days of extra time after the due date and still couldn't get it done). After making several calls to Troy, and still not receiving leads, I told him I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund. He apologized and said he would send me a check for a full refund (as the check I sent him had already been cashed) and send me 10 free leads.
As of today, I have not received either. I have tried numerous times to contact Troy to resolve this issue with him, but to no avail. He does not answer my calls, nor return my voice mails. The one time I did get in contact with him, he verified my address and said he would contact his treasury department and get back to me, but I never heard from him. I tried one last time to contact him and received his voice mail. I, again, left him a message. I am filing this complaint in order to protect others who would use this company and protect themselves from this fraud. As I am still out of $600 that they cashed but didn't follow through with their services.
UDATE: I did file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and have learned that the company has ignored the complaint and didn't even try to resolve the issue. I was hoping the complaint would help resolve the issue but they have refused to even Acknowledge them. Check them out on the Better Business Bureau as them now have now earned themseleves an unsatifactory rating
