Ripoff to consumers

This is not necessarily a rip off, but consumers should be made aware. I made a purchase, one year same as cash. Even though I paid it off in 4 months, GE Capital slammed me with over $62 in late fees. They said payments were late.

How can a payment be late if it is overpaid? If the minimum payment is $10, and you have sent $100, how can you have a late paymentwhen the terms were one year, same as cash. READ YOUR FINE PRINT YOU HAVE TO MAKE A MINIMUM PAYMENT even if you are months in advance of their minimum schedule.

A representative from the firm finally removed the charges, but not without going through three phone calls, two representatives and being placed on hold for long periods of time. The waiver, I am told, is quite an honor because they are only "allowed to remove one from your account a year".
