Integra Financial
Scam, ripoff

Integra Financial called and told me I had been approved for a credit card, and I asked were they associated with Bank of America, because I had just applied for a credit card with Bank of America about a week before they called. They said yes, they were the clearing house for Bank of America and just needed to verify some information before they could send out the card.

Along with my card I was eligible for the benefits package that offered great savings coupons. However, since I had no credit established I would be charged a one time fee of $249.00. The $249.00 would go into a Bank of America savings account for 30 days for trying the benefits package, but if I was not completely satisfied with the package call customer service for a full refund. However, once the recording came on it said something totally different, that's when I became suspicious, so I called the customer service department but the line remained busy, so the person verifying the information said I could cancel at any time if I was not satisfied once I got through to customer service, I was told something totally different once I reached customer service. They were not associated with Bank of America, but by that time they had all of my information.

I told the customer representative that I wanted to cancel but she said that I could not cancel and that they would be debiting my account on the 28th of February.
