Company Stole Money From Pre-Paid Insurance

I owned a home through Washington Mutual. I also had to pay my homeowners insurance through them because California, yes the entire states it seems, caught on fire and no companies were giving out policies. The amount for ONLY property damage was 300 dollars a month, which they collected in ADVANCE. I paid for about 4 months of insurance when I refinanced and NEVER got a refund on the pre-paid insurance policy. I called them several times and we promised a check would be sent. But they never sent it, and stole 1200 bucks from me! DO NOT use their insurance if you plan to refinance. Just send them short payments, or they will steal this money from you.
