On December 3rd I received a call from Maryann, operator 81011, from Centric Group. She told me that I had been one of the few chosen to receive a Mastercard/Visa with no annual fee, no monthly charges and with a credit limit of $2500. I had to pay $369, which they automatically withdrew from my checking account a day or two later. I was told that my credit card would arrive by December 17th at the latest. She also gave me my contract number, her operator number and the toll free number to contact her directly if I had any questions.
On Dec. 17th, my card still hadn't shown up. I contacted customer service and asked to speak to Maryann. The customer service rep who I spoke to told me that he didn't know why Maryann said I could speak to her because the line she called from is an outgoing line only and she cannot receive incoming calls. I asked him why my credit card hadn't shown up yet. He pretty much laughed when I told him that Maryann said my credit card would arrive by Dec. 17th at the latest. He said there was no way that I would have my card by then. He told me that I would receive a package in about 3 weeks and to sign a paper in that package and mail it back and my cc would arrive shortly after. Well, as of Jan. 1st my "package" still hadn't shown up yet. I called again and they said they had mailed one out and hadn't received my response form so another one was in the mail. The lady I spoke to this time said that alot of people have accidentally thrown their's out because they think it's just advertising for travel. She said don't throw it out because your cc info is in there. I asked her what travel had to do with it!
A few days later I received my "package" from Centric Group and found it full of free tickets for this and free tickets for that and travel information! I wasn't told anything about this crap! AND no credit card! There was a form in this package that I had to fill out to APPLY for a mastercard/visa! I sent that back in and contacted customer service again last week. Now this guy stated that my credit card would arrive within 15 days. So I should have had my card 3 DAYS AGO AT THE LATEST! As of today's date, January 31st, I'm STILL WAITING TO GET MY CREDIT CARD! I've tried calling Centric Group all day today and as of yet, all I get is a busy signal. What the hell is going on! I either want to see the credit card I was promised or want my $369 back! These people have done nothing but lie about their service, deliver false information, false advertising and so far all I've done is paid $369 to get a load of crap!
