We had a horrible experience with OCWEN. We thought we were the only ones. They tried to forclose on our house. We tried making payments to them and wuld return them weithut cashing them. They were constantly calling our home. Finally we filed bankruptcy just to get them to stop forclosure. At that time we were desperate and just wanted to keep our home. After filing bankruptcy they still would not accept our payments. We had to pay a lawyer extra to get them to take our payments. Then after we refinanced and paid them off. They had lawyers continue to harrass us and tried to have the injuction on them lifted by the courts telling them we had not been making ur payments even after they had been paid off. I had to threaten them with legal action in order to get them to stop the harrasment. I paid them thousands of dollars on an prepayment penalty just so we would not have to deal with them. I also, paid outrages amounts to them for late payments I had not made. They would post my payments as late when they were not while we were in bankruptcy and then in order to get rid of them I paid them.
I am happy to no longer have to deal with them. I am sorry I lost so much equity in my house due to them, but would do it agian just to get rid of them.
I notified the company that sold my mortgage to them and told them I would never do business with them either.
