I purchased membership in Experian's Credit Manager Service that is suppose to notify me if any negative information is sent to my credit report. For this service I pay $90.00 annually.
Recently Palisades Collections reported inaccurate credit/debt information that Palisades claims they purchased from AT&T Wireless. Experian never notified me of this negative information.
I disputed this information using Experian's procedure and asked that they add comment to my credit report that I disputed this information. Experian said they investigated and the negative and inaccurate information would remain in my file. However, I have contacted Palisades an asked for their proof of this debt and Palisades does not have any proof/documentation to support their reporting. So I conclude that experian did not truly investigate. Experian has also failed add comment in my credit report that I dispute the information reported by Palisades Collections.
