Got a charge off on credit report for $516 from "Palisades Collection L" 9.
Disputed account through Experian but it came back as valid somehow so they did NOT remove it from my report. Account was originally supposed to be through AT&T but never had ATT account. Submitted another dispute and am currently waiting response.
Don't really know where to go from here, especially if the second dispute is rejected again. There is an option to add a consumer note explaining why the charge is on there that will be attached to any report that is given out by the bureau. It can only be up to 100 words though, but that should probably be enough to explain the situation.
If anyone has any information on this company or any current lawsuits, please contact me as I would love to include my information in there as well. From what I can tell this umbrella of companies, Palisades, OSI, and CTI (?) needs to be regulated. You may contact me at [email protected]
