Thanks to this website, I was able to track down several calls that I was receiving by Palisades. You would get a recorded message to call a toll free number, 800-873-5648. As I had never done business with this company, I researched and found this same toll free number belonged to Palisades. After reading the numbers of complaints against them, I decided that there is no way that I would call them.
I sent a letter to one of my credit reporting agencies, Experian. I attached several webpages from usacomplaints. Coms.com which had a number of complaints lodged against Palisades. I also attached the Better Business Report's webpage on Palisades which was unfavorable.
Last week, I got a free report from Experian. Fortunately, Palisades was not on it, and therefore, they did not get an opportunity to compromise my credit rating.in addition, Experian placed a fraud alert good for 90 days with an option to extend it.
Be extremely cautious about returning any phone calls by Palisades.in my letter to Experian, I stated that the only way I would have any contact with them would be via postal mail.
