Here is the latest. Nothing! When I contacted them via Customer Service, that was a sham. So I contacted the BBB. Within 3 days received a letter from local a*, wanting to meet. I wrote a* back, told him all communication would be in writing (copy to BBB as well) I wanted paper trail of all communication. Never heard another word from a*. That is was October.
Few days later, received a letter from Office of President of Filthy Third Bank, said I would recieve a complete review within 5 business days. We are still in later October here.
Now, Jan 5 not one word. I have heard from OH Attorney General, and FTC and well as BBB asking if I have been contacted by Filthy Third. Nope!
Now, why do you think they do not want to communicate via written correspondence? Hmmmm...
So, Brian stick it. Don't even try and tell me about keeping up your checkbook. I bet I can tell you something you don't know that could really screw your wonderfully kept check book all to hell and you might not know it for weeks.
Did you know, that for a "fee" the FRB or the processor of choice of ANY bank and go right ahead and send through and pay a check you have put a Stop Payment on??? Yep, they sure can, it's not ethical, but they will surely do it, guess what that produces for the banks. FEES FEES and some more FEES! And guess who pays you think the banks do don't you. LMAO
Also, since I have been raising hell with 5/3 for treating it's customers like crap and not disclosing their rules and regs, they have suddenly, after years updated and redesigned their entire website. Much information they hid from customers are now there for the veiwing.
