Litton Loan Servicing
Ripoff

I have not provided my home address as I am still leary of anything to do with Litton. I have read all previous statements and I must consider myself fortunate thus far. My situation is a little different.

My husband and I seperated in 1995. At that time I was told about a HUD program that would reduce my mortgage to make it affordable for me to pay. HUD did indeed accept me into their program and explained my loan would be extended 3 extra years at the end to make up for lower payments for the 3 years allotted in the program.

For 3 years I paid reduced mortgage with an agreement to go back to regular payments at the end of the the program. This was fine as it allowed me to keep my home. At first I was paying HUD, then Clayton National, Clayton sold my mortgage to Litton in 2000 that is when the nightmare began.

The first month in which Litton acquired my loan, I received notice Litton that my loan would be foreclosed when I inquired as to why I was sent a letter of apology.

My loan has been back to the regular amount since 1999 with me paying my own insurance on my home.in the original loan on the home in 1992, the amount of the mortgage included the insurance. Well Litton placed forced insurance and expected me to pay Lloyds of London $1400 for insurance which they took out of my escrow. That was inturn returned to me due to the fact when I wrote Litton I also sent a copy of the letter to my Congressman, the Real Estate Governing Body, and the Better Business Buearu.

On several ocassions Litton had called me on my job — I work in a Headquarters, Armed Forces legal office, thus I know my rights. They would call on Sunday mornings at 8 A.M. I have had beligerent people call me not until I went to a HUD agency representatives did the phone calls stop.

I also took a foreclosure letter Litton had sent to the HUD representative as Litton tried to say they placed me in a Fresh Start Program where I need to start repaying those 3 years now. The HUD Representative told them and me under no circumstances am I to repay that portion of the loan now it is an agreement with HUD.

I suspect the only reason my loan has not been foreclosed upon for the 3 years I was in the HUD program is because I was in a government approved program. As a representative of Litton had told me my loan has to be treated in a special way.

It had gotten to a point after Litton had to reimburse the forced insurance that the people in the office were told they are no longer allowed to speak with me I must be sent directly to a supervisor.

When I receive my escrow report to file taxes, there are two things I do not understand there is a UTILITY TAX and I forget the name of the other one. Also, I have never received a coupon book from Litton in the entire time they have maintained my loan. The HUD representative requested they send me a coupon book and copy of my escrow report to date I have received nill.

And the saga continues.
