I got the ripoff card and catalogue in july. Was disappointed. Cut the card up and threw it away. Then called to cancel the home insurance trial that came with it. It was deducted from my acct anyway. I put a stop-payment on it. Then tonight I was reading my bank statement online. It had a debit of 14.95 on Jan30.2002. The description was VVX 800-959-4995 PURCHASE 123. I called the number (the office was closed at the time 9pm) and, yep sure enough, good ole E-Credit Solutions.
I never ordered anything from them. The card had been destroyed on receipt. 6 Months!!! They may as well hold me up with a gun!
Guess I gotta cancel my acct and open a new one. I really hate to for I am in the middle of starting a business and wanted to open a business acct and had just obtained a debit card on my acct. The bank is gonna hate me.=o (
I'm not worried about the 14.95. Its the fact that i had nothing to do with company after receipt of their junk and had accepted
'being had' gracefully. But after 6 months they take money from me. I'm ready to call up the FBI.
