Deposited checks from tenant in another state into my account. I was aware that I would need to wait for funds to clear, however, did not know that this included putting a hold on funds that were previously in the account. Long story short, suntrust locked my account, online, ATM, phone info etc. Without notifying me about anything. After several phone calls and a visit to a branch I am still not sure what is going on. The last individual I spoke with on mon April 8 informed me that my account was closed due to fraudulent activity and I should receive a check in the mail. However she wasn't completely sure and needed me to hold on to talk to another department. This is ridiculous for a large bank like suntrust. As of today I am not sure what is going on with my account or any funds in it, including those two checks that were deposit April 1.
