I refinanced my mortgage and unfortunately as I have found out it was sold to US Bank. The customer service with this bank is horrible. When I got my first statement and I wanted to pay the mortgage online I noticed that if you pay the mortgage from day 1-4 it is free. Day 5-9 they charge $3.50 and day 10-15 they charge $5.00. When I asked at a branch what this fee is for they all did not even know there was a fee. Tried to speak to someone on the phone and was told "that's the way it is" no one can tell me WHY there is such a fee. Seems like nickel and dime time for a customer who pays the mortgage on time. You have from the 1st to the 15th of the month to pay a mortgage. Seems like you are being penalized for (1 going green and saving paper and (2 for pushing the submit button to pay. All I want to know is what this fee is for and why are they compelled to do such an unheard of thing. I have NEVER had to deal with this before and I have had mortgages for as many years longer than some of their employees. Most of the branch employees barely look over the age of 21years. And no one knows what they are doing
