Was contacted and a demand of payment was made by this company. I tried to explain to allied interstate that I did not owe this money. The rep then begain to curse me, told me that I was a dead beat, and said that I had pulled a gun upon a rep for the company that they were trying to collect from (Ford Motor Credit). I became angry and requested to speak with the rep. Supervisor. I was told to "Go to Hell" and was hung up on. I called the number back which was displayed upon by caller id, and requested to speak with a supervisor. Again I was hung up on.
I called a third time and requested the company mailing address, rep. Refused to give information and again hung up on me. I called a fourth time and this time I told the person who answered the phone that I wanted to make arrangements to pay a debt. This time they very different, they didnot hand up on me yet, I was tranferred to this rep named Heather. I ID myself and this rep begain to verbally abuse me over the phone again. I Asked to speak with a supervisor, thus rep began to verbally abuse me again, I finally told this person that I would have an attorney contact them. I was told to go F*K myself and again hung up on. Thsi is no way for a company to conduct business.
Now that I have done some research on the web, I see that this is a commom practice of this company. I should not be subjected to such treatment. I plan on consulting with an attorney concerning possible legal action.
