On October 30th I received a call in the evening from a Company calling themselves Centurion Benefit Services offering me a credit card with an immediate credit limit of $2000.00. All I had to do was give them my checking account information and a one-time fee of $249.00. They also wanted all my personal information and my SS #, which I said I would not give. The guy insisted that they were affilated with Centurion Bank, which I was a little familiar with.
He called back twice with his so called "Supervisor" and all types of Pin#'s, etc. Which sounded legitimate! He told me to look them up on the net, and gave me an 866#, but my computer was being repaired and I finally relented and gave them my info. Well the next day I tryed calling the 866-784-0260 number and could not get through. The number is phony and so is the Company. It is a TOTAL scam as I found out on the internet when I went into work the next day.
I am currently trying to get my $249.00 back from my bank through my Bank's Fraud department! Wish me luck! I can't believe I was so Stupid and Naive. Don't Give them any info and tell them to never call your number again. Centurion Benefit Services is a Total Scam!
