I recieved a phone call telling me I qualified for an unsecured visa card worth $2,500.00 and all I had to do was let them take $299.90 from my checking account and the card would be processed and sent to me within 10 to 15 days if not 7 business days. The person I spoke with was Leo Master (he said). When I asked him why couldn't the fee come directly from the 2,500.00 he told me that the new law governing credit cards didn't allow for this practice any more. I thought that was strange when I was just reading the application from Premier Bank where your one time enrollment fee would be billed to your account when it was opened.
