We chose BCG to manage our 401k about 6 years ago. I have been trying to close the account and execute a rollover of my funds to a new provider over the last two years. They have found every excuse imaginable to delay and deny the rollover.
Keeping the account open allows them to continue to assess fees. When the fees are paid and proper forms are filed, they continually find a new form that needs to be filed or a new fee that needs to be paid first.
In the meantime, they are assessing more fees. Of course, they are more than willing to help themselves to all of the fees and charges by deducting it out of my 401k account prior to the rollover.in effect, this holds hostage my retirement funds.
I would urge anyone seeking any service that BCG offers to continue looking.
