HAPPY THANKSGIVING, not if its up to Frys!!! I bought a samsung 65" 1080P 120HZ LED HDTV on 11-21-12. We set it up after a wonderful Thangsgiving meal, feeling blessed. Well, our TV had 2 big spots on it with a line across it and NO picture, only could be seen once plugged in. So we took it back off the wall, boxed it up and took it back to Frys on the Gulf Freeway in Webster Texas the next day. We did NOT want to shop on black Friday. Thats why we bought the TV early. Frys said it was a manufacture problem and they would have to see if Samsung would take it back and give us another TV, basically that it was NOT THEIR problem. I explained that it NEVER worked and that we had bought the 4 year warranty. They said it was policy to wait on Samsungs response. They said we would have to take the TV back home and they would contact us. We spoke with the highest manager that was willing to deal with us. We did not like the wall mount we got, so I wanted to trade that in on the better one, well their Frys credit was NOT working. They wanted me to use another credit card. I told them that I had opened the account to buy this TV and I was only using this card. I had my 3 & 4 yr. Old grandkids with me and was close to the end of my rope, so my husband took over dealing with this. My response was " As much trouble as you have caused us, you should give us an even trade!" They gave us a wooping $50.00 discount. I took the babies to the car, because our crappy new TV was in the parking lot by itself! Then it started to RAIN!!! They were kind enough to bring me some trash bags. TODAY is 11-27-12, no one from Frys or the corporate office returns our calls and we still have a crappy TV in our living room! They wont even take it as a return. My husband and I are hard working AMERICANS and have waited a very long time for this TV! I will never shop at Frys again and I will encourage the Gulf Coast area to do the same. God Bless America and God Bless Texas!
