Frys electronics sells defective and refurbished products as new. I bought a 65 mitsubishi dlp tv for $2,300 in 2006. Within 6 months it was shutting off automatically. When we contacted frys for repairs they stated it was a manufacture defect so we had to contact mitsubishi. They knew this model was having problems when they sold it us, they failed to tell us about the defect that was known for over a year. The television was repaired by mitsubishi at no cost. To this day we are still having the same problem.in march i bought an iomega external drive and that was defective! Today i took it back to frys for a refund or exchange. At first they did not want to give a refund or exhange since i was 5 days over their 30 day return policy. I told them that they are selling defective and refurbished products without telling their customers. After complaining to the manager for 15 minutes, he agreed only to exchange it for the same item. The exchange is also defective. Frys states i have to call iomega for an exhange or repairs. I will never shop at frys. I am warning anyone who is thinking about purchasing anything from frys electronics. Buyer beware.
