I am writing to express my complaint about the services I received on the 8th of May by Donna %u2013 Global Keratin Hair Treatment and Cut. Having had this treatment done many times before and previously working in Hairdressers, I am fully aware of the process and therefore disagree that it was done correctly.
Firstly, the treatment was not applied to my hair correctly, and therefore has not had any effect. Once the treatment has been applied, it should be left for a minimum time of twenty minutes before it is dried into the hair. However, once applied my hair was dried straight away.
Furthermore, in order for the treatment to have a lasting effect it needs to be %u201Cblow dried into the client%u2019s hair%u201D, as instructed on the bottle. However my hair was not blow dried, it was simply blasted with the hair dryer. Therefore, the product was not sealed into my hair properly.
Moreover, I was unhappy with the way in which my hair was cut. I clearly stated I wanted half an inch of my layers and 1cm off the length. However, Donna proceeded in doing her own thing and taking much more off than I originally insisted.
As a result of this appalling service which I received, I expressed my opinion on their website but they just deleted it. However, the manager - Lorraine Martin got in touch with me through phone to discuss the service which I received. Firstly she said "What I wrote on their website was rubbish". I also felt completely undermined because of the patronising tone she used with me and the way she referred to me as "a wee girl." Worst of all, I didn't even receive an apology which I think is completely unprofessional and nothing but rude.
I would not advice this salon to anyone.
