My family and I recently purchased a Groupon to Hood River's Vagabond lodge hoping for a wonderful Easter getaway. Upon arrival, we realized that first of all we had been ripped off as the groupon was more expensive than the rates at the lodge, second of all, it was just awful, nothing like the pictures. We were promised a big view room, sure the room was big, but it was filthy and there was no view. The lodge looked like something straight out of a horror movie. My wife and kids refused to spend the night due to how awful and below our expectations it was, so we left. When we contacted groupon, asking for a refund considering their promise says they will refund any purchase that was unsatisfying and they simply refused to even give us a groupon credit.
