I decided to try Ever Pure sulfate free color care Shampoo and Conditioner about 9 weeks ago. I bought them at my local Target store, expecting them to be both pure and gentle. I normally am not troubled by allergic reactions. I used them for 3 shampoos and conditioned my hair with them 3 times per package directions. I do have a auto-immune disorder (SLE) but generally do not have sensitivities to any thing but sun on my scalp. I'm careful to cover my head when I go outside with either a scarf hat or both. But normally my problem is internal. After 3 tries about 5 days between each shampoo I had a bad auto-immune skin reaction on my scalp. Raised purple lesions on my scalp, which still itch are still raised and still are there. I know the difference between contact dermatitis and lupus,
and the problem is I think this is lupus due to a chemical reaction to this product. It is the kind of thing that I could suffer with for 3 to 6 months more, just from this small exposure. I'm not sure what I reacted to in the product. I always read labels
to be careful not to get a reaction like this. Have you had other similar complaints with these two products. Wondering and waiting in the Southwest... And not a happy camper.
