Had my hair color using CHI products. Asked the stylist, Melanie why was the black dye purple? She said it is the way it looks but it will be black. I told her I hope so as if it has a purple tint my gray will turn purple.
Sure enough it turned purple. So I went back and the stylist Ron said we will fix it... He made a "CHI" mixture and put it on my head... in 10 minutes I thought I would be dead as my scalp was on fire!
I was told you must wait 5 more minutes under the dryer... Why to suffer longer? No way!!! I asked them to use cold water and rinse it immediately. So I get the song and dance this color will not hold. The manager Ingrid said to Ron "She must be on some medication for her to have such a reaction." YEAH right Vitamin D and Fish Oil... That's all I take... I left in pain with a red hot scalp.
I spoke to CHI on the phone and explained what happened... The CHI customer service representative said I need to search for another salon, but she had never heard of such problems with the CHI products.
SO the morale of the story here is to Fantastic Sam's Hair Salon in Oviedo, Florida is the place to go... If you want to get CHEATED and not CHI treated.
