Never go to salon davinci!!! Unless you want to be ignored!
Okay so here it is... I wanted to get my hair cut since I think I need a more professional look for work. I asked a co-worker of mine where she got her hair done. She said that a friend of hers does hair and she's really great. She gave me a number to contact her and make sure to let this girl know that someone had referred me. I knew that it would probably be a little expensive considering the length of my hair so decided that I would get my hair cut on my next pay day. I never called the girl and thought since I was passing by the salon that I would just stop in to make an appointment for the following week. I parked my car, got my daughter out, and walked in. Everyone was busy with someone. From my own experience of working in an extremely BUSY office, I waited till someone was available. One girl walked past me and smiled but didn't ask if I needed any help. I figured that she may be going on break. I hate when people stop me on a break so I continued to wait. Another girl walked up to the register area where I was sitting and gave me a quick smile before sitting down to process some receipts. Again I figured that she was with someone and would help me when she got freed up. A cell phone rang from across the room. I figured that it was one of the other customers who were getting all dolled up. She was there a few minutes and then got up and walked to her work station where she checked her cell then disappeared around the corner of the salon. She was gone for about a minute or so, then came back out and started cleaning up her work station. Again, I thought... Maybe she is going to help me as soon as she's done so that if I was going to her station it would be ready. Again, she disappeared around the corner. Finally, I thought, well I will stand up since they might be thinking that I am waiting for another customer. I was there for another minute or so. Another girl from across the room looked up at me but I guess I must have been invisible since she didn't even bother to smile as to acknowledge my existence. Finally, one of the stylist asked me if I had been helped. I replied no and asked if "Angela" was in. She looked around and came back to tell me that she must have stepped out and should be back shortly. Again, I sat back down thinking that who ever this "Angela" girl was would come back and I could finally make my appointment. AND YES, I was still planning on getting my hair done here, despite what was happening. Again, that same girl who I now knew was not with anyone by now, came back out. At this point, I am hoping that she will help me. Would you believe that this girl came back in, sat down at her work station, and began a conversation with another customer's friend about their baby? She even turned away from me as to make sure not to make eye contact with me!!! I was insulted and offended by the whole experience. I had been there at least 15 minutes and I was treated like some piece of trash that had no money to pay for anything in that salon!!! Not even the dirt on the floor. All these people were too GOOD to help me and I was a piece of SHIT!!! I will never go back there again. I will let everyone that I know that lives here never to go to that salon. These girls clearly did not get trained in the customer service area. I would have completely understood if everyone was busy and really didn't have time to help me. I can't count the number of times I have been so slammed at my jobs but still took the time to let waiting customer know that I knew they were there. And knowing how RUDE it is to be interrupted when you are with someone else, I gave them a chance to help me. I honestly thought that this was a really nice place and watching them work, they seem to be really great at what they do. I waited patiently for someone who was available. I just can't believe it! Their lack of customer service training and judgemental attitude let's me know that this is not someplace that should not be in business.
What's crazy is most hair stylist I've spoken with work on percentage commisions and TIPS!!! That is just plain sad and DISGUSTING!!!
