Neon Cat - Marian Gooding
Sold Kitten With Ringworm & Yeast

Marian Gooding may be the operator of Neon-Kitten. She frequently articles on www.planetdevon.com, that will be where we discovered her record whenever we were looking for a devon rex cat. She'd a brand new kitten and delivered people images. We place a deposit along on the small female cat. We were in continuous connection with Marian. She clearly enjoys her cats, and delivered us several images, improvements, etc. We spoke about the telephone numerous occasions. We eventually selected our young girl up at a few months old. Within the next couple of days we recognized anything was not right with this newborn. She'd a dark crusty accumulation around her eyes, nose, as well as in her ears. She'd dark areas about the link of her nose and under her face. She also had lumps and scabs on her throat and down her back. We approached Marian, who informed us the lumps and scabs were from having fun with additional cats and getting damaged. She informed us the dark accumulation was fungus which all the cats she nevertheless had at her home were today good which she'd put neosporin about it. We were not pleased with these answers and got our infant to some pet expert. As it happens our fresh cat was laden with ringworm and had a hearing disease, and fungus between her foot pads, around her eyes, and her nose. Upon telling Marian of the, we've not been called back since. We've sent, named, as well as the vet called her and left a note. Your small Ariel does definitely better as well as in her next week of treatment. However it is sad for all of US (and our cat!) that we'd togo through this. I understand things occur, however the proven fact that she's not responded us since that time claims she understood anything was up. She enjoys her cats, and Ariel may be the best most stunning small cat you'll find anywhere. But be careful if purchasing out of this cattery, and definitely look for ringworm ASAP! Arrive at discover we're not the first ever to obtain a cat from her with that issue.

We put a deposit down for a kitten from Marian and were scheduled to pick up our little guy early September. We stumbled upon 45 bad reviews on a complaint board and were concerned to see so many reviews stating their kittens had health problems with the reviews spanning over such a long period of time. We very nicely and calmly shared our concerns upon finding this complaint board and just asked for more information to ensure our kitten would be healthy. Any person who reads reviews like this would have concerns, especially when making a large investment in a new family member. Instead of ensuring us that our kitten would be healthy and offering to provide health check-ins along the way, she immediately got extremely defensive. She texted us and told us her kittens were healthy and that vets also owned some of her cats. She also told us that it was basically our problem for believing online extortion for free cats and money when really we were just looking for some assurance and clarity based on what we read here. She told us we put a cloud over her and her kitten, which I’m not sure how inquiring about their health when finding terrible reviews brings a cloud, but oh well. She ended her text by saying she was sending our deposit back and we would no longer be getting the kitten we put a deposit down for. It’s just very upsetting that we were pushed away for asking questions, even if they may not have been something she wanted to discuss. It’s so important to feel comfortable asking any and all questions when dealing with breeders and I can’t believe we lost our kitten because we wanted to ensure he was going to be healthy. We’re still just in shock over the whole thing, but are thinking it is probably for the best because her reaction was a huge red flag and leads us to believe that we may have received a cat with many health issues. Now, we are starting back at square one. We are so eager to get a Devon Rex and are devastated over the kitten we thought we were getting in a few months.
