I recently purchased an exotic shorthair kitten about three months ago from the Cat Cartel. She was shipped to me in an airplane. When I got her home I realized right away that she had two infected eyes and was sneezing. I took her to my vet who inspected her and he told me that she had an Upper Respiratory Infection. There is no cure for this. She has been on antibiotics and nothing has helped.
It's been months now and she still sneezes and has trouble breathing. I also noticed a month ago a strange red circle on my arm which turned out to be ringworm! The kitten had given me ringworm and now my whole apartment has been exposed to it! She has since then had to be shaved twice and has to have weekly Lym dip treatments. I have had to scrub all hard surfaces with bleach and water. This is no small undertaking as it has to be done quite frequently!!!
I have to vaccuum daily and the spores of fungus could be on my furniture. IT HAS BEEN PURE H*LL!!! I absolutely love this little cat and I'm hoping that this ringworm will be cured soon but I honestly don't know how long this will last. I just don't want anyone else to have to go through the same thing. My little kitten still has a cold that won't go away and she still is infected with ringworm. Beware the cat cartel!!!
