Feeling ripped off-Dont trust my pets care to Banfield

Following the encounters I've had with Banfield. The girls at the front end table are extremely good and useful but I've no-confidence in trusting my pets wellness towards the vet. I'd say they're sufficient for schedule pictures but nothing more. Long story short they didn't capture that my dog had record viruses despite the fact that I told them I thought he did. Evidently the program dewormer isn't enough to eliminate tapeworms which need a unique chance they didn't want to inform me until my bad dog had experienced tapeworms for just two 1/2 months, despite numerous calls requesting once the viruses were said to be eliminated.

After getting him in at 5 weeks since he was limping they explained he might have anything damaged plus they will have to do an xray-while he was under anesthesia. Estimated price: $550.00 -I thought like these were attempting to tear me down once they stated they'd not suggest performing the x-rays while he was below for his neutering to conserve money and also the threat of placing him under twice.

We did wind up brushing the methods which saved three-hundred bucks. They just required x rays of his leg which Dr. Studdard mentioned was the issue. She called us to an orthopedic vet so when I got him there the brand new vet stated his leg was good also it was his hip. And so I needed to spend 250 more to truly have the new location xray his hip (while he was conscious, evidently that you don't have to place your dog under to get a hip xray)

So it's his hip and we're getting the new vet do the surgery to repair it.

We can not get our money-back from Banfield for that lost xrays they conducted. I am aware she may possibly not be a heated vet but good sense might inform me when she was uncertain of what might be wrong having a puppy (while his homeowners were spending countless bucks to discover) she must possibly get xrays of the hip and leg in case.

Also the truth that nothing is clearly incorrect together with his leg and he or she "translated" (there is a 70.00 meaning of x-ray charge) the xray to me as though there have been a lot of things wrong with-it affects me.

I'd believe that a vet might understand a bit more about common framework of puppy bones, even when that's not your niche.

Although I'm upset about losing 250 bucks on these useless x-rays because of the insufficient good sense from the veterans at Banfield I'm more concerned about the creatures which are obtained there for issues apart from regular pictures.
