Wendy Carter sold me two adult dogs for $3,600. I sent her a deposit of $1,800 and she told me she would arrange for shipping to me within two to three weeks. I asked several times when they would ship and she kept stalling. After a month, she told me it would be another 4 to 5 weeks before they would ship. I told her to send my deposit back since she couldn't deliver as promised. She sold both dogs to someone else a couple of days later claiming I would get my money when they picked them up and paid her. She spent their deposit as soon as she got it so she couldn't send my deposit back. Finally, she sent me $1,000 back (which she had to borrow from her mom) and said I would get the rest later. About a month later, she told me she was keeping part of the $800 because I "changed my mind." I did not change my mind, she could not deliver as promised. I still have not received the other $800 she owes. She has sold the two dogs to someone else. The dogs are gone and so is my money.
