I recently listed three puppies withy Purebred Breeders. One sold myself and a second puppy, a black German Shepherd was sold through them to a man in California (I am in FL) Before I listed the puppies with Purebred Breeders, I questioned them on the contract that they have the buyer sign to confirm that if the puppy did not work out for whatever reason I would have the option of getting the puppy back before it was re-sold or placed. I have mad numerous contact attempts to the buyer and have not had any response from him. Not even to assure me that the puppy had arrived safely from air transport. I have a suspicion he is intending to re-sell the puppy due to the rarity of a black shepherd and requested a copy of the signed contract with the buyer from Purebred Breeders. That is when they told me I could not have a copy of the contract since it was with them and not with me and privacy laws prevented my having access to the document. I was also told t hat the contract Allows the buyer to re-home the dog in their local area. This is in direct opposition to what I was told before placing any listing with them. I am very disturbed and have obviously cancelled the remaining listing that I had with them and will never list another puppy with them.
